BODIES OF WORK:

Emergence: A recently initiated body of oil paintings concerned with imaginative and reflective formation. Began in the summer of 2009, ongoing.

Surfacing: Non-representational oil paintings dedicated to an intuitive synthesis of expressive imagery. Began in summer of 2008, ongoing.

Landscape photography: Photography designed to hold a record of a place’s specificity and vitality. A tribute to the beauty that surrounds us, with a focus on all scales and subject matter from wilderness to the city. Ongoing since 2005.

Worked as a bookstore cashier, managing stock and sales, as well as assisting interpreters with providing information and service to visitors. Full-time seasonal position in the summer of 2008, at the Sunrise Visitor Center on Mt. Rainier.
